Late this morning I decided to make my way down to the farmers market on my inherited scooter. I felt pretty cool passing the cars stuck in traffic as I whisked by on my little razor scooter.
The atmosphere was delightful and the samples delectable! It felt like I was back in Paris again, roaming the Saturday markets.
I even discovered a new fruit today. It's called a Buddha's hand citron. It is essentially a lemon without juice. It smells heavenly, like a room full of freshly grated lemons.
They had flowers as well!
By the time I got my fill of the market I couldn't believe that it was already noon. I will be terribly sunburned, but it was all worth it! I think this may very well become my favorite part of my weekly routine.
The goods!
Can you tell I was craving tomatoes today?
(And no, I'm not pregnant. I simply crave tomatoes on a constant basis.)
