It's a...

Gender Reveal PaRtY!!!
Instead of finding out the gender of our baby at the doctor, we decided that we wanted to share the suspense and excitement with our families.  We told the doctor not to tell us the gender of our baby, but instead, to write it on a piece of paper that we then put in an envelope.  As you can imagine, that paper burned in our hands as we left the hospital, and was VERY tempting to open.  Luckily, we only had to wait a few days and knew that it would be worth the wait if we got to share the gender reveal with our families.  We then took the envelope to a baker and had them bake us a cake with a pink or blue inside depending on the gender of our baby.
With Lad or Lassie cake, bow and mustache sugar cookies, and the most wonderful family members in the world as our guests, we couldn't have hoped for a better party!

Everyone cast their votes of what they thoughts we were having.
We voted for either, so at least one of us would be right.
And now for the big reveal...
It's a...
Baby...
BOY!!!
We are both thrilled to be having a boy!
I always thought, "what would I ever do with a little girl," because I grew up with three brothers and was an absolute tomboy.  So, I fell pretty prepared to be having a little baby boy.
One of our favorite parts of the party was seeing all the adorable kids in our families and dreaming of what our little boy will look like!  I must say, I think we have a pretty good chance of having a cutie with all these good looking babes!

So many wonderful people helped put this party together and we are so grateful to all of them.  Thank you mom for letting us use your beautiful house.  All the delicious food and adorable cookies could not have come together without all the help of McKay's siblings.  They are the best!  Thank you!  And my incredible cousin took all these wonderful photos of the event.  She is amazing and an absolute angel!  Thank you Clara!  If anyone is interested in using her as a photographer (which I would highly recommend) I can give you her information.
Oh, we already love our little boy so much!
