Heck YES!
For FHE this week we had hot cocoa and watched Christmas movies (and very, extremely, horribly cheesy ones at that! - YEAH!)
We watched Miracle on 34th Street and this one, whatever This is? (Feel free to answer the million dollar question) It had Tim Allen in it, so it should have been sort of good, but twas not so!
(Fake looking Santa was a little creepy...wouldn't want to sit on his knee!)
I don't have any problem admitting that I enjoy listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas movies in November, especially Elf, but I watch that in July even. I love that no matter how old you get everyone seems to magically tap into their deep reservoirs of child-like wonder and love. In sympathy, I must admit, I am grateful that I'm not in retail - Involuntary Christmas music over exposure is no bueno!
As you can tell, McKay and I are a little bit excited for Christmas to come and ready to wear scarves and mittens and climb over snow banks the size of cars. WAIT! What is this!
Still! Geez, I don't think I will ever get used to this whole, nice weather all the time here. Nope, still feels like summer to me. I'm waiting very patiently for fall to come...my scarves have been beckoning me! I heard one last night while I was sleeping whimper my name.
Maybe you can save us Utah? See you at Christmastime! Until then, surf's up dudes and dudettes!
